It seems kind of strange saying the title “Calphalon Nonstick Skillet Set with Lids”.  I’m not sure I’d even think about buying any pan that didn’t come with a lid… but in this economy I guess we should all be thankful it doesn’t say “Calphalon Nonstick Skill Set with Rivets to hold Handle”.

So aside from the marketing technique “With Lids” that allows them to call this a “4 piece” set, the Calphalon Nonstick Skillet Set (“With Lids”) is a really nice solution for your kitchen.  You get a 10 inch Nonstick Skillet (With lid) and a 12 inch Nonstick Skillet with lid.  The manufacturer’s original MSRP is $199.99 however, the set runs about $90 USD online, it’s made in China and has a lifetime warranty.

You can take the skillets off the stove and put them right in the oven which has come in really handy a few times and seems to impress my guests :)

What we really like about the Calphalon Nonstick Skillets are the Hard-Anodized exterior and interior.  They material that makes the skillets “Non-Stick” is actually PART of the skillet, not some cheap coating that is going to peel off in a year or so and end up in your omelet.

Aside from the grimy marketing technique employed by just about every cookware manufacturer on the planet (4 piece = 2 pans + 2 lids ), I have to recommend the Calphalon Nonstick Skillet Set.  I’ve had a lot of fun using their pans, and I’ve owned older Calphalon pan models for the last 5 years and they have performed extremely well.  They have taken abuse that would destroy lesser pans and have done so without showing it.

The Ineo USB 3.0 HDD Docking Station is the first such device we've seen that supports USB 3.0. It supports both the 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drive designs in one compact unit, and it performs well with both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connections. It's well worth its price tag of just around $45. I...
