The Cuisinart duet blender/food processor does more than one job, allowing you to have fewer appliances in your kitchen yet still get the same tasks done.

With a chic design coupled with a multitude of different functions including a 500 watt motor, and the ability to mix, chop, puree and blend your food, this Cuisinart Blender Food Processor will be a valuable aid in the kitchen, and it looks great too.

Features

Cuisinart SmartPower Duet Blender
Food Processor in Chrome The Cuisinart Duet Blender/Food Processor is packed full of features, including the ability to be two appliances in one. Not only is the appliance a blender, it is a food processor, too.

A powerful 500 watt motor complements the appliance which will shred, mix, chop and blend almost any type of food easily. All the removable parts are dishwasher safe while the touchpad controls and chrome-finished outer body can be wiped over quickly leaving your Blender in pristine condition ready for next time.

Advantages
There are many advantages to owning a multipurpose appliance like the Cuisinart SmartPower Duet Blender/Food Processor. The most convenient usage is storage space. With the ability to double as a blender and a food processor in the one convenient unit, you can rid yourself of your old blender and food processor and replace them with this appliance.

The multipurpose appliance will cater for all your blending and food processing needs. A 500 watt motor paired with a stainless steel blade is perfect for slicing, chopping, mixing and liquefying, resulting in you having the perfect consistency for any food you blend or process. The neat looking touchpad controls are easy to use and can be cleaned easily by giving them a wipe over.

Disadvantages
The Cuisinart Duet Blender is loud when it’s in use. Many of the plastic parts on the blender can be susceptible to wearing quickly, so they may break if put under pressure while blending hard items, like ice. Even if the parts do break, replacement repair parts are relatively easy to source, so you’ll be able to repair your blender without the cost of having to buy an entire new unit.

If you’re not careful about the quantity of food you place in the blender, it can get jammed in between the blades resulting in you having to stop the blender to rectify the problem.
Conclusion
The Cuisinart SmartPower duet blender/food processor seems like a good idea in using one appliance to do the job of two in the kitchen, but there are drawbacks and flaws in the design and build. Weak plastic parts are prone to breaking in use, the 500 watt motor part can be considered loud when in use.

On the other hand just as many things are good with the Cuisinart duet blender/food processor including the ability to make the perfect smoothie or ice cream, create creamy soups, slice or chop vegetables and purify food a baby can eat.

The stylish look compliments this blender/food processor magnificently and it looks great in the kitchen too. If space is a premium in the kitchen then this blender fits the bill as it will fit snugly under the cabinets in your kitchen. Pricewise it probably works out cheaper to buy when compared to a food processer and blender and should be looked at if you do require both appliances.

With its added exclamation mark, you'd expect Start The Party! to spontaneously generate a shindig whenever you fire up the PS3, but in reality Start The Party! would be more likely to generate a scrap with your guests if you ever put it on at a get-together. That's not to say that the game isn't fu...
