The Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer is something you’d expect to see being used in Logan’s Run. Not that it’s particularly futuristic at all, but the design seems like it was made to feel that way and in doing so almost always makes itself outdated at best. Regardless, you don’t choose work out gear on the aesthetics, you choose work out gear for results, and the InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer delivers the goods (sans style).

The InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer provides you with a great cardio workout at almost any location. Due to its compact size, you can bring the trainer anywhere and keep it stealthily stored beneath a desk, bed, or in a cabinet or desk. While the manufacturer will try to persuade you that you can completely abandon a gym or gym membership, this is probably far from the case. The trainer is at best a great temporary substitute, such as while camping, on vacation, at work, or on a business trip. That said, there’s really no permanent substitute to a good, balanced home gym or a membership to a respectable gym.

As with most elliptical trainers, the E1000 delivers a precise, low-impact, cardiovascular exercise by simulating walking, stepping, cycling, and skiing motions. The E1000 assures you a comfortable work out with hardly any impact on your back, knees, hips, and ankles. The device is equipped with an electronic monitor which tracks strides, exercise time and calories burned. Made of a sturdy steel construction, with non-slip petals you’ll be able to rest assured that the E1000 will not be malfunctioning anytime in the near future.

Most elliptical trainers seem to only provide a limited range of low-impact cardio exercise. This is where the Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 trainer truly shines as a great piece of work out equipment, giving you a great work out time after time while not adding unnecessary stress on those vital body parts.

UFC Undisputed 2010 PSP Review

May 30, 2010 | Sports and Recreation | 2 Comments

UFC Undisputed 2010 on PSP is going to be an interesting case study. Here, you have a portable port of a big budget PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 game. The fighters, modes, and options you'd expect from those versions have been carried over to the PSP, and from a broad perspective the transition went smoot...

ViewSonic FuHzion VX2265wm Review

May 30, 2010 | Sports and Recreation | 2 Comments

The 22-inch ViewSonic VX2265wm FuHzion is simply not worth its $350 price tag. For that price, you get only a DVI connection, poor movie playback quality, limited ergonomic options, and brightness calibration options only for the OSD. Games perform well and the VX225wm includes Nvidia 3D Visions Kit...
