The 2010 Precor 9.35 Treadmill is one tough customer. The huge 3 HP motor, combined with Precor’s Footplant technology is a winning combination if you are an experienced runner looking to have a smooth experience inside and here’s why…
Precor Footplant technology accounts for the fact that as you run the speed of your feet change… On a regular treadmill your feet slip a bit or are gripped a bit to propel you to the speed of the belt. This might not seem like a big deal, but it takes away from your rhythm and can affect your stride. After time, it may even alter your stride enough to help start bad stride habits, effect your kick and quite possibly damage your knees and ankles. On a 2010 Precor 9.35 Treadmill system you have Footplant technology. The treadmill actually registers your foot speed and recalibrates the belt velocity over 100 times a minute. This lets you be “you”.
The whole reason real runners don’t like treadmills is because it doesn’t feel natural. Now real runners have a reason to stay inside during Winter or Hot Summer days… running on this treadmill is like running in nature; or as close as you can come.
We have been very impressed with this Precor equipment. It is very sturdy, they put a lot of thougth into the design and engineering… the Footplant technology really sets it apart from the pack and that is something we love to see. So this 2010 Precor 9.35 Treadmill is also being nominated for award consideration this year. We’ll be back to update this article as we have more time with the systems.
