Kettler manufactures rowers from Germany. They have a good following in Europe and are making waves with the Kettler Coach Rower here in the US.

The Kettler Coach is built for people who are serious about fitness and demand a quality rowing machine that will stand up to some punishment and not miss a beat.

One of the things I like best about the Kettler Coach, is that it comes standard with a padded board on which you can recline to do triceps, abdominal, and other focused body toning exercises (16 in total to be exact).

That fact alone separates the Kettler Coach apart from all other rowing machines on the market and is a worthy reason to buy this rowing machine for that feature alone…

Kettler Coach Rowing Machine Key Features and Benefits

magnetic resistance flywheel offers continuous, accurate resistance with 10 unique levels
performance monitor that gives readouts on time, number of strokes or repetitions, energy consumption (calories), total distance, and pulse rate
fitness test with pulse rate monitor built-in for fitness assessment
16 muscle building exercises with adjustable resistance
lifetime frame warranty, 3 years parts and labor

Along with the total body workout you can get on the Kettler Coach, the main function of this machine is rowing.

The Kettler shines in the rowing department too, with smooth magnetic resistance that’s adjustable up to 10 unique levels, and a built-in pulse rate monitor that allows the training computer to assess your fitness level quickly and easily.

It’s very apparent that Kettler built the Coach rower to last, as they offer a full lifetime frame warranty and a 3 years parts an labor warranty standard on every machine.

The Kettler Coach Rowing Machine is my recommendation for rowing machines under $1000.

Back in 2007, I reviewed Hot Shots Tennis on the PlayStation 2, and I couldn't help feeling disappointed. Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee on the PSP won my heart – it's a game that I still fool around with today – but though the PS2 version of tennis had the characters and style I knew, it lacked the s...

Robin Hood: The Return of Richard Review

July 29, 2010 | Featured Articles, Sports and Recreation | No Comments

Figuring out that this is the latest WiiWare release to be ported from the iPhone isn't too hard to do -- Robin Hood: The Return of Richard is decidedly "mobile" in its look and feel. The subtitle would have you think it's somehow story-driven, perhaps a small RPG or adventure game chronicling the p...
