Lifecore has a good rowing machine on their hands with the r100 rowing machine, it’s a club level rower with great ergonomics and enough resistance levels to meet any users needs (15 levels to be exact).

The design and function of the Lifecore rower are aimed squarely at the Concept II rowing machine which is a best seller here in the US and most of Europe as well.

The team at Lifecore pulled out all the stops with this rower, and included must have features like heart rate control, user data sets, air and magnetic resistance and on, and on…

Lifecore Rower Key Features and Benefits

15 challenging programs
Heart rate control with 16 levels of resistance
Stores data for up to 4 users
Air and Magnetic Resistance with Electronic Brake System Technology
Ergonomically designed seat, angled foot rests with pivoting heel supports
Ergonomically designed handle
Silent drive system, folds for Storage
Solid steel fan/fly wheel
User weight: 600 lbs

A good testament to the quality of the Lifecore is the length of the warranty (5 years on all parts) and the unusually high user weight limit of 600 pounds – that means (3) of me could use this rowing machine at the same time without any trouble, that’s impressive.

The Lifecore comes standard with what they call a, “Auto-controlled ergometer features a huge, clear, high-definition console with a digital readout to measure strokes per minute, time, distance, calories burned, and heart rate”.

In plain English, that means you can get all your key stats from your workout at a glance from the crystal clear screen, high definition screen.

The only gripe I have with the Lifecore Rower is the size of the unit when in use. It’s a large machine measuring 92″ long, so you’ll need plenty of floor space open when you use the rower, but on the plus side, it folds up and out of the way when not in use.

I recommend the Lifecore Rower, and think it’s a great value in the mid-level rowing machine market.
