Indoor grills have a way of showing up in the most unexpected of places. They are convenient and versatile in their own right, but when they are integrated with another countertop appliance, they can suddenly become must-have gadgets. However, sometimes a grill comes combines with another appliance that is surprising and unexpected, and doesn’t appear to be necessary–until it is needed, that is.

Even as far as specialty appliances go, the E-ware 8K103 buffet style two-in-one grill is still somewhat out of the blue. After all, a combined buffet server/indoor grill probably isn’t on the top of very many want lists. However, the 750-watt appliance is bound to come in handy for certain occasions, right?

With the capability to serve 8-10 people, the novel appliance conjures up images of being put to use in a cook-it-yourself party atmosphere. The three separate heating elements can be used to grill, keep food warm on the flattop or for serving with any of the three lidded bowls–try serving soup with any other indoor grill! While guests won’t be able to use the grill and the buffet at the same time, as the cooking plate runs the entire width of the appliance, if your party is in need of a grill that turns into a buffet server, well, now you know it exists.

2010 Apple MacBook Pro Spring Edition Review

August 1, 2010 | Featured Articles, Kitchen Products | No Comments

The 2009 version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro was one of our favorite laptops, providing a great combination of design, performance, and battery life in a thin chassis. We tended to like it even more than the 15-inch model, since it managed to be smaller and still high powered, provided you could live...
