Weighing in with up to 410lbs of resistance, Bowflex Blaze Home Gym is certainly not for the faint hearted. If it is a comprehensive home gym you are looking for – with all the bells and whistles – this baby should definitely be on your list.

Let’s dive a bit deeper and uncover the raw power that the Bowflex Blaze Home Gym has in store for us.

Weight Ranges
The Bowflex Blaze comes standard out of the box with 210lbs of resistance. The awesome thing about all Bowflex systems is the rod technology which is used to achieve this resistance. Instead of heavy weight bars and plates which pump up the cost of shipping, the Bowflex Power Rods are light and easy to transport.

The Blaze is upgradeable to both 310lbs and 410lbs – provided that you purchase the proper add-on bars to achieve these weights. At 410lbs, it is quite possibly one of the most accommodating home gym sets for professional body builders and weight lifters.

Attachments & Extensions
The number of exercises which are possible on the Bowflex Blaze is truly astounding. By utilizing the attachments such as the lower pulley and squat station, the leg extension and curl attachment, and the lateral tower bar, the possibilities for exercise are endless.

If you are looking to build muscle in all areas of the body, both quickly and efficiently, then the Bowflex Blaze is sure to impress even the most discerning user.

Cardio Conversion
If you’ve got the Bowflex Blaze in your home, you can pretty much throw out the treadmill and the rower, and use the cardio functions on the Blaze to your advantage.

On this particular machine, it is possible to alter the settings to covert the seat in to a rower’s bench. By flipping a single switch at the back of the machine, you can then pretend that you are rowing along the lakeside – in the comfort of your own home.

Pro’s Of The Bowflex Blaze Home Gym

We love the fact that you are able to do both weight training and muscle building, and cardiovascular exercise all together on this one machine. It means that you don’t have to buy another expensive rower or cross trainer to complete your home gym.

Additionally, you receive a lifetime warranty on the power rods – which is impressive, and a 5 year warranty on the frame / equipment itself. Not bad Bowflex!

Con’s Of The Bowflex Blaze Home Gym

It would have been nice of Bowflex to have provided us with a free resistance extension to either 310lbs or 410lbs, given the fact that this is one of the top machines in the Bowflex range. Unfortunately, you currently have to spend more to buy these upgrades if and when they are needed. Aside from this, the Bowflex Blaze is an amazing home gym, and will no doubt impress even the pickiest consumers out there!
