Cuisinart SmartPower Blender Review

by The Review CrewSeptember 19, 2010

The rush to get out the door in the morning can be a hectic whirlwind of activity. After bumping into walls and tripping over end tables we manage to find the kitchen, ready to tackle the basic necessity of food. (And coffee.) All too often at this point we are presented with a conundrum: enough time to prepare something to eat, yet not enough time to eat it. Luckily, sustenance doesn’t always take the form of solid food, and a highly portable smoothie will suffice.

The Cuisinart CPB-300 Compact Portable SmartPower Blender not only lets one quickly whip up a breakfast drink, but it also makes it easy to take it with you. Featuring a variety of blending vessels that include a 32-ounce jar, an 8-ounce chopping cup and four 16-ounce to-go cups, the versatile appliance is not only an efficient solution for the morning rush, but is capable of being put to good use any time of the day.

The blender keeps it simple with a 350-watt motor and no hassle three-speed control with LED indicators (choose from high, low, and pulse). Equally (if not more) convenient is the fact that the appliance ships with four to-go blending vessels; just pop in the ingredients, blend, and grab it to go–four days a week. Luckily the removable parts are dishwasher-safe, as it seems the set of four will have to undergo at least one cleaning cycle to make it through the workweek–just make sure there’s a clean one to grab in the morning.
