Saeco Coffee Maker Review

by The Review CrewSeptember 19, 2010

The effects of coffee are well documented as a morning eye-opener and as a pick-me-up throughout the day. However, the caffeinated elixir has another associated trait that makes it enjoyable for coffee drinkers: it has ritual attached to it. Considering the amount of varieties that exist and the steps it takes to brew a pot, it is not surprising that the process is steeped in precision.

Precision is usually best handled by a machine, and for coffee-drinkers, there is the Saeco Bean To Brew 10-Cup Automatic Drip Coffee Maker And Burr Grinder. Available with either a thermal or glass carafe, the automatic coffee maker handles the entire process: fill the sealed-lid hopper with beans of choice, choose grind preference from a choice of eight settings, add water, and let the machine do its magic.

The easy-to-use machine features one blue LCD display to show all functions and settings. Thoughtful additions include an aroma selector to determine strength and a reminder icon for when it is time to descale the machine. Of course, part of the enjoyment of coffee is in the process of making it, but with the inclusion of a 24-hour programmable timer, it might just be better to let the machine take care of things while you get to sleep in.
