Okay so obviously you do not write an article about Dragon NaturallySpeaking professional version 12, you speak it. So that’s exactly what I’m doing, and I’m not going to correct one thing so that you can see what type of accuracy were looking at.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking comes the reference card and the CD. The CD has a CD key in the reference card is a quick installation guide and a sample of some commands that are available for you to use right out of the box. The initial set up took about 20 minutes, and involved plugging in a USB headset that came with the system installing the CD, activating the software, and an 18 minute training session. The training session wasn’t too bad I read about 10 pages from Arthur C Clarke’s 3001 space Odyssey.

So far really like it, interacting with the web browsers is a little limited in that you can use it with Internet Explorer and Firefox but Google Chrome does not support some of the commands that Internet Explorer and Firefox does which is very odd because Google has a reputation for generally supporting everything. So for instance, you have to actually say to hit the corresponding function key for a universal command like refresh instead of saying it with Google’s chrome.

The back of the box says that you can ignite productivity with fast accurate dictation. Dictate naturally to create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, email and more… Three times faster than typing… With up to 99% accuracy. Formatting and correcting your text is quick and simple to. You can see how it misspelled to and will not allow me to select to or correct to which means it needs a little work. The box continues to say natural sounding text-to-speech reads back editable text for easy proofing or multitasking. Smart format rules allow dragging to add that by detecting your format corrections abbreviations, numbers and more… So you’re dictated text looks the way you want to every time. Customize the vocabulary with business or industry specific names, acronyms and terminology.

Night efficiency by automating business processes. Quickly create time-saving commands that can automate business processes and workflows. Dragon can streamline routine tasks, control application elements, or manage custom forms of dialog boxes. A simple voice command can execute multistep processes, saving valuable time in delivering near immediate ROI. Ignite control and multitask. Use Dragon voice shortcuts to create emails or search the web or your PC with remarkable speed and ease, or insert standard text, such as an email signature, into a document.

Ignite a voice driven experience and more applications. Use Dragon professional 12 of most of the Windows applications including industry-specific programs, use every day on the job. Dictate documents in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice writer, or Corel WordPerfect. Work with spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel, create presentations Microsoft PowerPoint, or send email in Microsoft Outlook. Search the web using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome. Dragon professional even enhances the experience of working with two of the most popular web-based email applications Gmail and Hotmail with full text control and commands for the most frequent actions.

Ignite mobility and freedom anytime, anywhere. Dictate content at work, at home, in the field or wherever your job takes you. record notes while they are still fresh in your mind, for optimal convenience you can use:

.Number . so apparently you can’t read the whole bo. . It started spazzing ou. it doesn’t complete full words now. a A it doesn’t capitalize. t T beginning of sentences.. . If I paid $499 for the software product below upset right no. but. I got lucky and the company sent me. althou A they probably will not do so again after reading this article

As of this moment, with the training it asked me to do, I would rate this a four out of 10 the Nuance Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional Edition version 12 is need to play with but I’m not sure that I could use in the production environment and I’m not sure that it’s worth the amount of money they’re asking for.  I will continue to train the software for the next week and come back to this article with my findings after I’ve had a little more time to train it.

Sony Bravia XBR-46HX909 HDTV Review

September 10, 2012 | Featured Articles, Small Business, Software | 1 Comment

The last Sony TV we reviewed with superb picture quality was the ultra-expensive KDL-55XBR8 from 2008, which also and not coincidentally featured the company's last example of a full-array local dimming LED backlight. That TV's spiritual successor, equipped with a similar backlight, is the ultra-exp...
