Spirit Ice Vice Review

Spirit Ice Vice Review

The Spirit Ice Vice is an excellent gift for any whiskey drinker.  Which is why it made our list for the 2013 Reviewboard Magazine Valentine’s Day Gift List.  It’s a luxury drinking accessory that fashions a chunk of ice into a perfect sphere that is just the right size for a whiskey glass.  The Spirit Ice Vice is not a gift for the feint of heart, coming in with an MSRP of $750.

The Spirit Ice Vice uses thermal conductivity and gravity to take the ice from block to beautiful sphere.  The ball is a seamless 2 1/2 inch diameter master piece.  We do think it may be a bit short sighted to limit its use to alcohol as it can also be used for a variety of food, beverage, catering, and décor needs as well.

It is an incredible device, and while pricey, the Spirit Ice Vice’s solid aluminum structure and beautiful anodized finish available in black or mahogany is worth the price of admission if you are serious about your whiskey/cocktail, or other creative endeavors.

Check out the video and watch it in action.  We give it 4 out of 5 stars.
