[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Gallo En Fuego iPad cover is just like the Gallo En Fuego Fire hose wallet we reviewed earlier today as part of the 2013 Father’s Day Gift List. The iPad Cover is constructed out of the same genuine decommissioned fire hose that the wallet is. It is a has a double outer layer of polyester, the hose and a rubber liner. Fort Knox could likely be a better protection for your iPad but then you couldn’t use it…
A neat feature of the Gallo En Fuego iPad cover is it has a smart feature that wakes the iPad when you open the cover and puts it to sleep when you close it. You can remove your iPad easily from the jacket, and prop it up for a vertical display. It has a pocket in the inside for storing stuff too. It will fit the iPad 2 and iPad 3 only so make sure whoever you are buying for has either of those.
All in all I like this iPad cover very much. I’ll have to give it 4 out of 5 stars. I took a star because I feel like companies that make iPad covers should have them fit all the iPads. There are too many not to have all the options and well… it’s not fair to get iPad 1 or iPad 4 customers all excited about something that isn’t there!
Great stuff from Gallo En Fuego!
