2014 Exmark 60 Inch LazerZ X-Series Zero Turn Commercial Mower Review

by Reviewboard MagazineApril 12, 2014

The 2014 Exmark 60 Inch LazerZ X-Series Zero Turn Commercial Mower is absolutely the best zero turn we have reviewed to date. If you are a commercial landscaper, mowing service, farmer, you should be all over this thing like bees on honey.  If you are one of those guys that have the Tim “Tooltime” Taylor syndrome, have money, and want to out do the next door neighbors for 300 miles than you want one of these things too.

Imagine doing your acre lot in 15 minutes.  Now get on a 2014 Exmark 60 inch LazerZ X-Series Zero Turn Mower.  Close your eyes and imagine it again.  Now open your eyes and do it… maybe even faster.

The 2014 Exmark 60 Inch LazerZ X-Series Zero Turn Mower Model: LZX940EKC606 has a new feature called E-Gov and RED OnBoard Intelligence.   This is particularly interesting because it can save you up to 500 gallons of gas a year.  I don’t know about you, but gas is $3.99 a gallon here.  That’s $2,000 in annual fuel savings, that means you can pay your Zero Turn off that much faster with the gas savings.  The E-Gov and RED OnBoard Intelligence are smart systems that govern your engine speed but electronically which gives you access to the power you need AND the fuel economy (something a traditional spring governor can’t do very well).

The 2014 Exmark 60 Inch LazerZ X-Series Zero Turn Mower  is absolutely awesome.  It’s highly efficient, powerful, rugged (that commercial grade rugged, there is nothing about this unit that says consumer), and it has all the bells and whistles.  It even has a cup holder and a 12 volt car plug so you can plug in your ipod, or whatever you want (we plugged a USB hub in and it powered our camera, and our phone.)

All in all we give the 2014 Exmark 60 Inch LazerZ X-Series Zero Turn Mower is amazing. We give it 5 out of 5 stars and award it with the 2014 Best in Class Award.
