Racing Beat Sway Bars - Mazda Miata Restoration Project
Another perfomance enahcment for our 1991 Mazda Miata. This upgrade was to address the handling of the Miata. Now the Miata is know for driving enjoyment. This car is a blast to drive. We choose the enhance our handling perfomance using front and rear say bars from Racing beat. The parts we installed were the Racining Beat front and rear sway bars. We also replace the sway bars links ends also from Racing beat. Ans boy after this install you can feel the new tightness in the steering of your car.
One of the first thing we noticed is that the Racing Beat product is just plain heavy duty. The product is painted a pretty red and its obvious they pay attention to how they build thier product. Every we need to install was included. You wil use the old bolts from the old sway bar but that is it.
We first removed our old sway bars and links. Boy can you tell the difference when you set the new sway bars next to the factory set. The size differnce is very noticable. No wonder this results is in a nice tigher feel to your diving expierence. The quality steel used here by Racing Beat is very noticable. The install was very painless. Remember again spay all the bolts ahead of time to make the removal of your old sway bars easier. The rear sway bars are a snap to install. The front takes a bit of jocking around to get the old bar out from behind the radiator and all the piping in the front of the car but belive it or not it does come right out. The new installs the same way.
Not much to tell on the install Racing Beat provides the instructions and overall can be done in a short after noon. You can see some of the pictures of our install in the image gallery. Once again nice product from Racing Beat.
